A Woman’s Right to Choose
You don’t open as much email as you used to. We don’t either. We’re all flooded with the stuff, and we have to pick and choose what we can read on any given day. TMI: That’s where I live most of the time.
Still, you care about peace. You know that informed, empowered women are the missing ingredient in the deep, worldwide soup of opportunities and challenges. And we know that the global peace we all seek requires YOUR voice and your solutions.
So we’re adapting. We’ve redesigned our home page to offer lots of quick action options, including $1 a Week for Peace. And we’re using this blog post along with other new media channels to invite your input and connect us all to each other.
Exercise your right to choose!
- Read this post, click on Comment, and tell the world what’s on your mind.
- Check www.peacexpeace.org anytime for past and current blogs, including the new This Week’s Peace Action Blog. Act. Then tell us what happened, how it affected you, how it felt.
- Look for Peace X Peace on Facebook and become a fan. And follow Executive Director Pat Morris on Twitter: @PatTMorris. (Twitter is opening up Iran, right now, defying official attempts to control information. That’s exciting!)
- Even though it’s almost Fathers Day―and we’ll be celebrating some of the men we love in PeaceTimes soon―we’re still multiplying the power of mothers at our Mom X Mom cause on Facebook. Join us there, and join the Peace X Peace cause too.
If none of these persuades you to connect, or take a next step in connecting, please tell us what would. What are we missing? What are your favorite communication channels?
Our connections and actions are the vital X factor that multiplies our power and makes us strong enough to tip the balance together.
Thank you, busy reader. And Happy Fathers Day, to you and all the men you love. They are our honored partners in peace.

Let’s all hold the vision of safety and freedom, peace and self-expression for our sisters and brothers in Iran.
Please join me in sending our light and prayers to them.
Hello Peace Sisters!
Yes certainly time is of the essence but it becomes a matter of priorities, surely?
If I say my priority is to support and sustain peace, then reading Peace X Peace has to be on the top of my priorities.
Of course the world intrudes and I find myself reading all the latest from PXP at 1.00am in the morning! But I always feel better for the connection – so even at that time – its worth the effort!
Our sisters on the frontlines need to know we take the time to read their stories – this is our way of supporting their efforts. Just thinking aloud here….
Peace Bless-sings to all
Melody
Dear Sisters, because of the “One Child Policy”in China I am the only child in my family and I have always jealous of others who has siblings to grow up with.
Now as a member of Peace X Peace, knowing that I have hundreds and millions of sisters from all over the world, holding the same belief as I am , and fighting for PEACE in everyday life. I feel like I belong to this big family where we are all connected by LOVE.
Something has to be done each day in our personal life to support our sisters on the frontlines and my own way of supporting this global peace movement is:
1.Response to the Blog so that my voice could be heard.
2.Educate myself about world international bodies where I am aiming to serve in the future, inform myself with what’s actually happening around the world.
3.Enhance my universal responsibility which I considered to be the the best foundation for world peace.
Let Peace Inspire you and me
