A message from our CEO
Living Peace. As 2012 draws to a close and good tidings for peace abound, we reflect on our first decade of progress of connecting women to build world peace―the results of your support.
Building Capacity. This year our Mentorship for Peace program paired 60 women protégés with expert leaders to acquire peacebuilding skills in 25 countries.
Peace X Peace online multi-media resources support an international community of 20,000 women in lifelong learning, leadership skills and cultural exchange.
Leveraging Technology for Peace. We launched our Connection Point Dialogues to build bridges of understanding between Arab, Muslim, and Western women, and to advance women’s leadership skills through a professionally facilitated curriculum of online and in person cultural exchange. The pilot program is now complete and we’re gearing up for our 2013 spring session.
Peace Is a Process – Sustaining Our Future. Transformational Peace Leadership Training―slated for Spring 2013―equips women leaders with critical resources and skills to facilitate change and implement the goals in UNSCR 1325 on Women, Peace and Security.
Peace Requires Action. Through parity and inclusion; we collectively unite womens’ collective voice and elevate our participatory roles as agents of change in the international peacebuilding community.
Time, Treasure and Talent, Peace Requires All. Please make your generous contribution to sustain the Peace X Peace mission and programs today. We thank you!
