VOLUNTEER for an hour, a week, or many years. We want to talk with you about your abilities in organizing, researching, writing, translating, fundraising, mentoring, and more.
“Never doubt that a small group of committed people can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.” – Margaret Mead
- INTERVIEWER Do you know a magnificent woman who has a story to tell or a viewpoint to express? We’ll give you your press pass and any support you need to conduct an interview for Voices from the Frontlines or Connection Point. Contact Voices Editor Yasmina Mrabet, email@example.com.
- FUNDRAISER You are a woman who is not afraid to ask. When it comes to causes you love, you are both audacious and persistent. We want to talk! Peace X Peace relies solely on private donations and counts heavily on the generous support of its members. We would welcome your help to:
-Introduce us to potential donors
-Work with our CEO, Founder, and Development Director
-Offer your well-honed grant writing skills
Contact Mary Liepold, Director of Development: firstname.lastname@example.org.
- TRANSLATOR We are eager to translate Peace X Peace resources into other languages—French, Spanish, Arabic, Urdu and Hindi, to name a few. By offering your help once or over and over you are supporting women who may never have communicated across cultures. Contact Yasmina Mrabet, Connection Point Director, email@example.com.
- MENTOR Our mentoring program matches aspiring peacebuilders with seasoned ones. Hundreds of women want to be matched, but there are more rising stars eager to learn than mentors to advise them. If you can spare two hours a month to pass the torch and increase the peace, contact Program manager Corinne Mitchell, firstname.lastname@example.org.
