KENYA

Mercy Chidi
Mercy is Executive Director of Ripples International in Meru, Kenya. The agency serves some 6,000 orphans, grandmothers, and other family members. Ripples has also constructed Kenya's second-only private pediatric hospital, launched a pioneering abuse shelter for girls, and built other innovative programs.

Lucy Heffern, our Peace X Peace Global Liaison based in Djakarta, Indonesia, is a true citizen of the world. She has lived in many countries: Belgium, the Gambia, Indonesia, Italy, the Ivory Coast, Japan, Kenya, Malaysia, and the United States, where she earned a BS in anthropology and psychology from James Madison University.
