Interviews

At its simplest and best, Peace X Peace is about women's voices. When we hear another woman's story in her own voice and know that she hears ours, we forge heart connections. Strengthened by our connections, we take actions together that lead to peace.

While connecting into a Circle is the most basic way to hear and be heard, our programs and resources offer additional opportunities.

  • When you join the Women's Global Roundtable, you'll meet another extraordinary woman every Tuesday evening at 8PM Eastern (US). You call in from your own home or wherever you are and listen as she talks about her life, her family, her traditions, her joys, and the challenges she confronts. Afterwards, you can raise your voice to ask her questions. If you miss an interview, you can listen to it anytime in the members-only web space.
  • At the Voice X Voice link you'll find a wealth of recorded interviews with ordinary extraordinary women (and a few good men). Activists, artists, authors, scientists, business pioneers, neighbors, parents, and grandparents talk about their lives, their work, and the values that guide them. If you'd like to be interviewed for Voice X Voice, to conduct an interview, or to suggest a woman whose voice we need to hear, contact liora@peacexpeace.org.
  • You can also read interviews with our Advisory Board members and other women and men who work for peace, around the world and across the spectrum of activity. These interviews originally appeared in our e-magazine, PeaceTimes.
